Lee Glendon, Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Bracknell Constituency, laid the wreath on behalf of the Liberal Democrats at the Remembrance Sunday ceremony in Bracknell this Sunday past.

In a common show of support for the fallen and those fighting for their country today, all three representatives of the main political parties in Bracknell marched together to the service at the Holy Trinity Parish Church.

"This was a great honour for me as the new person in the team here in Bracknell and I was heartened at the turnout for both the ceremony and Church service. The strong feeling of solidarity and commitment from all to remember the sacrifice of those in wars past and those serving their country in Iraq today was very clear. For me the powerful phrase that embodies the sentiment of the day comes from those words in the Kohima Prayer: "For your tomorrow, we gave our today."
