Councillor Nazar Zahuruddin

Naz Zahuruddin represents the Sandhurst ward on Bracknell Forest Council, alongside fellow Liberal Democrat Councillors Christoph Eberle and Mike Forster.

Naz is a self-employed Software Engineer with a passion for community development and public service. He and his family have lived in Bracknell Forest for 12 years, and his children go to local community schools. Naz’s enthusiasm for community service began early on, including volunteering for local charities, participating in initiatives and being a mentor for young people interested in tech careers.

Naz aspires to work tirelessly to serve the interests of Sandhurst residents, to build a better future for everyone. He is particularly passionate about social care, education, fair and affordable public transport and reducing crime.
