c/o Bracknell Forest Council
Time Square
Market Street
Bracknell

Philip Thompson represents the Owlsmoor & College Town ward on Bracknell Forest Council. He also represents College Town PD on Sandhurst Town Council.
Philip and his wife have lived in Owlsmoor and College Town for five years. He joined the Lib Dems in 1990.
Philip is a retired Chartered Accountant and life member F.C.A. and now the main carer to his wife, knowing the difficulties carers face from a personal perspective. His activities in the local community include involvement with the Bracknell Forest Mental Health Carers Group, Blackwater Valley Countryside Trust, and Surrey Heath Tree Wardens, locally at the RMA and along the Blackwater river border.
As an elected councillor Philip plans to use his role to achieve a more vigorous and democratic Council, with the governing politicians held properly to account. He also advocates that services must be efficient, so that Council Tax Payers get value for money, and is a champion for the protection of our environment for future generations.
He has a family background in teaching over many years and has been an infant school governor.
Together with the Bracknell Liberal Democrat team Philip is committed to serving the needs of local residents in Owlsmoor & College Town and standing up for the causes that matter to future generations and those who have difficulty representing themselves properly.
