Local resident Nicky Coppins is our candidate for the Sandhurst Town Council by-election on 9th November.

Living in Sandhurst for 25+ years, she is married to Bob, a retired firefighter and window cleaner. She has brought up two daughters here and has worked hard for our community by volunteering at our schools, being a PTA chair and for the Sandhurst Mums and Monsters. Caring for her community is in her DNA.

Nicky says:

“I am confident in my ability to serve as a capable councillor and representative for residents. I first arrived in Sandhurst in 1997 when my husband Bob and I visited friends. We immediately fell in love with the area and decided it was the perfect place to settle down and raise a family.

The community in Sandhurst has a welcoming village atmosphere that we knew we wanted to be part of. Furthermore, Sandhurst offers a myriad of charms, such as wonderful walks for our dog, excellent pubs, cafes and shops.

I am aware of the very real local issues that require attention, and assure you that I do not view the situation through rose-tinted glasses. I’ve never shied away from difficult problems but always worked hard towards finding solutions. My commitment to you is to continue to do this for us all, whilst being transparent and fair.”
