Councillor Patrick Smith

Patrick Smith represents the Swinley Forest ward on Bracknell Forest Council, alongside fellow Liberal Democrat Councillor Sophie Forster.

Alongside his role on the council, Patrick works as an acoustic engineer for a leading UK technical consultancy in the construction industry. He has lived in Bracknell since 2013 with his wife, a teacher at a local secondary school. They have two young boys who both attend a local primary school.

Patrick has been a member of the Liberal Democrats since 2011, and has twice stood as the Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate for the Bracknell constituency (in 2015 and 2017). He is passionate about building a fairer society in which everyone has access to the same opportunities, regardless of their personal circumstances.
