In the last two years we are extremely proud to have eight Liberal Democrat councillors elected to Sandhurst Town Council. Our role, first and foremost, is to represent the views and wishes of our residents at the Council and ensure than any decisions and actions taken by the Council are for the benefit of all Sandhurst residents. This means that we uphold the priorities that Sandhurst Town Council has set out which are:
- To spend the money we raise through the precept wisely, on things that people really need in an open, transparent and accountable way.
- To maintain the high quality environment both on the Memorial Park and beyond.
We carry out our civic duties without fear or favour, and given these priorities (which can be found here), we will continue to ensure that the entire Memorial Park is kept for the benefit of all residents to use in its many ways: for parents and young children, for our community sports clubs (such as Sandhurst Football club, Sandhurst Cricket Club etc), for those walking their dogs freely, for our teenagers in the skate park, and many, many, more.
Our objective in simple: To ensure ALL Sandhurst residents can continue to use the park that we have today, freely and safely, today, tomorrow and for future years to come.
