Bracknell Forest Liberal Democrats are excited to introduce our candidate for the Sandhurst Town Council, Central Sandhurst by-election – Ali Williams.

Ali has lived in Sandhurst for 24 years with her husband Phil and works in a senior IT role for a well known local retailer. They have two sons who also live and work locally.

She is an active community campaigner, regularly involved in charity fundraising efforts, and previously successfully led a community petition to change local school admissions codes to better serve and support SEND pupils.

She has been involved in many community groups over the years, including the St Michael’s Choir and the Wokingham Choral Society. She also previously served as chair of the PTA and was a parent governor for four years at a local primary school.

Ali says:

“I’m delighted to be chosen as your Lib Dem candidate.

The Liberal Democrat team here in Sandhurst has a great record of listening to and standing up for local people.

I believe that the role of a Councillor is to ensure residents are consulted and represented by people who are respectful, honest and transparent in carrying out their civic duties.

Sandhurst needs healthy accountability over the delivery of town affairs, which we can achieve with diverse democratic representation. I will work to ensure Sandhurst lives up to these values. I will use my experience to represent your views.”

The Central Sandhurst by-election is taking place on the 7th March.
